The island is marked by a wall, separating the wealthy from the poor. The show tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. Ti Moune makes a powerful journey to defend her love for Daniel and is tested by the gods that rule the island.  She gives up her life for his safety, but is then transformed into a tree which breaks through the wall for future generations to be together.  Filled with exciting drama, dance and song, this moving story (written by the team that brought us "Seussical") Once On This Island is a perfect match for our more experienced students.
